Michael Schumacher’s retirement earnings
Michael Schumacher has no plans to stop earning a lot of money, according to the retiring Ferrari driver’s long time manager. Willi Weber told newspaper ‘Bild am Sonntag’ that his goal is to make the seven time world champion an ‘advertising emperor’ in the years following his final race on the grid in China next month. He revealed: ”Most of our existing partners will stay with us, and we will also be working on the next super deals.” Personal sponsors DVAG, Shell and Omega have already renewed their deals with 37-year-old Schumacher.
The Sunday newspaper also reckoned that, even from his mansion in countryside Switzerland, Schumacher could earn more in 2007 - up to $26 million in total - than his brother Ralf, world champion Fernando Alonso and Ferrari replacement Kimi Raikkonen. His total fortune has reportedly surpassed $800m.

Michael Schumacher According to Forbes,was the Swiss-born racecar driver makes an estimated $2 each year to drive his Ferrari Enzo. I'm sure he can't complain. His Ferrari Enzo is just his everyday car, so $2 is about enough, though he foots his own petrol bills. I am sure we dont earn money just to drive our cars. His F1 racing is the thing that pulls money in for him.

He was actually one of the most paid professional atheletes in the world in 2004. Remember, these guys get huge amounts of money from endorsing products (like Tiger Woods in Nike commercials). And Formula 1 racing is the most popular racing organization outside of the United States. He was paid $80 million in 2004. He was then paid $60million in 2005, because Fernando Alonso won the season, advertisers decided not to chose him for endorsements.
