Onkyo great home theater right out of the box with the HT-S5100. This unit is easy to set up thanks to the Audyssey 2EQ auto room calibration feature. This automatically calibrates the output based on listening position and speaker placement. The DynamicEQ feature adjusts the settings on the fly as the volume changes so vocals and dialogue are always crisp and clear.
Onkyo's CinemaFILTER technology adjusts the tonal balance of the soundtrack to take room size into account. This way the soundtrack will sound like it is supposed to and not like it has been forced into a room two sizes too small. When coupled with the Wide Range Amplifier Technology you get a true to life sound free of amplifier noise.
The speakers are designed to work with the receiver to deliver stunning sound without being too intrusive. The 80Hz to 20kHz dynamic range of the main speakers ensures that you will hear all the highs. The sub-woofer has a range of 25Hz to 150Hz to take care of rolling thunder and explosions.
